Walking today, I started thinking about how simple sessions of wandering—just taking a walk—can actually help you grow. When you invest in yourself, when you put time and energy into your own development, you open doors to new ways of thinking. This can happen through reading, watching films or documentaries, or just by looking at the world around you. All these are ways to move forward, to lift yourself up.
Everything around you is a clue. Even if something seems unrelated to what you’re doing, you can use your imagination and ask yourself: “How can I use this environment to get an idea, to have that ‘aha’ moment?” That’s how you grow, how you reach for something higher.
Sometimes, you might feel stuck or unsure about where you’re going. That’s when it helps to look at your surroundings and ask: “How can I improve? What can I learn? How can I do things better?” For example, you might notice a building and wonder how it was built. You look it up online, maybe on Wikipedia, and suddenly you’re learning something new.

Or maybe you see someone who inspires you, someone who gives off positive energy. You think, “I’d like to be a bit more like that person. What can I do to be similar?” Then, you spot a bike you like, and you get curious about where it comes from. You find out it’s from an online shop, you look up the founders, and realize they live nearby. That’s networking, right there.
Staying alert to what’s around you is a powerful way to grow. Even things that seem totally unrelated can be connected if you let your mind make those links. There’s always a way to associate things, to find inspiration in the most unexpected places.
“Curiosity is the wick in the candle of learning.”
— William Arthur Ward
“The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes.”
— Marcel Proust
The best time to take action is today, right now. There’s no point in putting off what you want to do. Go for it. I wish you all the best, from the bottom of my heart.
