If you want to make real progress and take action in your life, the best way is to have a plan—a clear, defined plan for what you want to do and how you want to grow. When you know exactly where you want to go, you can move quickly toward the success you want to achieve. Without a plan, it’s easy to drift, get distracted, and end up nowhere.
The first step is to visualize your success. Picture exactly what you want to achieve and where you want to be in three weeks, two months, or any time frame that makes sense for you. Stay focused on that vision and don’t let yourself get distracted by other things.
It’s so common, especially if you have a day job, to come home and get caught up in other activities—watching videos, reading random articles, or starting new side projects. While learning new things can be helpful, juggling too many projects at once is a mistake I made myself when I was freelancing back in 2014 and 2015 in Manchester.
Back then, I was selling a professional CMS, offering various services, and managing several websites. I was everywhere and nowhere at the same time. My work was average, nothing stood out, and I couldn’t differentiate myself from the crowd. I wasn’t the “Purple Cow” that stands out from the herd—I was just another cow in the field. Instead of excelling at one thing, I was mediocre at many.
Trying to do everything leads to burnout. You end up with too much on your plate, progress slows down, and the risk of burning out increases. But if you focus on just one thing—nothing else—and stay persistent and determined, you’ll get what you want. If you’re 100% committed and truly believe you’ll succeed, you’ll always find a way.
Everything is possible if you truly want it. If you’re passionate about what you do, you’ll enjoy the process and make real progress.

Here’s a practical tip: If you work in an office and want to work on your own project after hours, change your environment. Go to a café or a park with your laptop, put on noise-cancelling headphones, and create your own bubble. For two hours, do nothing but that one task. Don’t check your phone, don’t look at messages—just focus.
This approach will double your productivity. We often think we’re productive, but when we multitask, we actually add stress and decision fatigue. If you remove constant decision-making and focus on just one thing, you’ll move much faster. Stop switching between tasks—no more “context switching.” Put all your energy into one task and nothing else.
This simple change has transformed my life, and I’m sure it will do the same for you.
