Have you ever wondered if it’s possible to learn more in less time? The answer is yes, and it’s easier than most people think. The secret lies in using the right tools and building small, daily habits that add up over time.
Let’s start with learning platforms. There are so many out there that are truly worth your time. One of my favorites is Audible. I have no partnership with them; I just use it a lot. For example, I’m currently listening to Jim Kwik’s book Limitless. Jim had a brain injury when he was young, which made learning very difficult for him. Now, he’s an expert in learning and memory. His story is proof that anyone can improve how they learn.
There are plenty of other great books and platforms too. One Minute is another book I recommend. And then there’s Udemy, a fantastic platform for online courses. I’ve even published two programming courses there myself. Udemy is a great place to find all kinds of classes, whether you want to learn a new skill or deepen your knowledge in a subject you already love.
Kindle is another tool I use often. With Kindle Unlimited, you pay a monthly fee and get access to a huge library of books. Or you can simply buy the books you want. I often invest 3 to 5% of my salary in learning—on books, courses, and other resources. It’s easy to set up a separate savings account for this, and most banking apps let you automate transfers. Even a small amount set aside each month can make a big difference.
If you’re looking for a waterproof e-reader, the Kindle Oasis is a good choice. You can read in the bath or before bed thanks to its backlight. The Paperwhite is also a solid option. Both make it easy to read anywhere, anytime.
There are other platforms worth mentioning. Podia is great for online courses. Snowball, a French platform now owned by Medium, offers book summaries in both French and English. Mentor and Minds are also interesting options, though Minds can be a bit pricey.
Of course, there are the classics like Coursera, MIT OpenCourseWare, Google Digital Garage, and Khan Academy. You can also find audiobooks, podcasts like TED Radio Hour, and many more resources. The point is, there’s no shortage of ways to keep learning.

But here’s the real trick: make learning a daily habit. Just 15 minutes a day is enough. We all have 15 minutes—think about it, you never skip your shower or brushing your teeth. These are automatic habits. Learning should be the same. Set aside a quarter of an hour every morning or evening. The key is consistency. If you study for three hours once and then stop, you’ll only get a few hours of learning in a whole year. But if you do 15 minutes every day, that’s over an hour and a half each week, or about 4.5 hours a month. That adds up fast.
It might seem like nothing, but over time, those small efforts create a huge difference. It’s like compound interest. The effect multiplies, and before you know it, you’ll notice real progress.

We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.
