Right now, I’m sitting in a café in Bangkok that’s open 24 hours a day. It’s a new spot for me, and I really like it. There’s something special about having a place where you can work or focus at any time, day or night. Some people are night owls, others are early birds, and some find their groove in the afternoon. Personally, I love having the freedom to choose.
For me, being able to work whenever I want—morning, afternoon, or evening—is a real luxury. This flexibility lets me focus on my laptop when inspiration strikes, not just when the clock says it’s time to work. Cafés that never close make this possible. This one is right in the heart of Bangkok’s tourist district, and I absolutely love it.
I got used to this kind of freedom in other places too. In Ireland and the UK, it was tough to find a 24-hour café. They always closed at some point. In Canada, there are a few places that stay open all night, but not everywhere. The US has more options, but it’s still not as common as you might think. So, when you find a spot that’s always open, it really changes everything.

Having this kind of flexibility helps me stay focused and enjoy what I’m doing. Even if I end up going to bed at 11 PM, it doesn’t matter much. What matters is having the choice. That freedom changes the whole game.
Now, as I set up my laptop on the table, with a big Americano in front of me, I’m ready to get to work. There’s something about being able to choose your own time and place that makes the creative process feel more natural and enjoyable.
