How to Find Joy in Small Moments Without Waiting for Big Changes

Today, I want to share a few small adventures and different experiences that have brightened my days. As I sit in my coworking space, I notice something amusing: a soda machine. It’s not just any machine—it serves sparkling water, and you can mix in different syrups, just like making your own soda. I grab a cup, pour myself some sparkling water, and skip the syrup since it’s not really my thing. Still, I find it fun to show you this little detail of my daily life.

It’s hot here in Australia. The sun is setting, but the heat lingers. I decide to head up to the rooftop. There’s still some food left, though the cheese is all gone—someone beat me to it, and what’s left has melted in the sun. But that’s not what matters. What matters is the simple pleasure of good weather, good food, and a change of scenery.

Sometimes, if you’re not happy with your life, you can change your surroundings. I know many French people who move to Thailand, Bali, Malaysia, or even Dubai. There are always great places where you can live well and eat delicious food. It’s a bit like Spain or Italy, where the culture is all about enjoying life. Even if Spain is more expensive than some Asian countries, it’s still in Europe, and the spirit of living well is everywhere.

You don’t have to move forever. You can try it for three or six months, treat it like a vacation, and see how you feel. You don’t need to give up your home or your life back home. Just try it out. If you like it, stay longer. If not, you can always go somewhere else. The most important thing is to live a life you enjoy, one that feels right for you.

I watched a video recently about people living in Thailand. Some have huge villas with pools, not in Bangkok, which is very polluted, but in small villages by the sea. They seem genuinely happy with their lives. Life is too short to settle for less than what makes you happy. Even a short break can change your perspective.

So, I wish you all the best from the bottom of my heart. Go for it. Make big plans. If you want to go further in your personal growth, I have more to share with you.
