Physical exercise is not just about getting fit or building muscle. It’s about feeling alive, lighter, and more in tune with yourself. Even something as simple as walking every day can make a real difference. Most experts suggest at least half an hour of physical activity daily, like walking to work, running errands, or just getting outside for a stroll. That’s the bare minimum. Personally, I recommend aiming for 45 minutes to an hour. This is the basic rule I follow, and I can tell you, it changes everything.

When you make this a habit, you start to notice the changes. You feel better, healthier, and lighter. Exercise lifts you up. It gives you a kind of energy that carries you into a new state of mind. After a good walk or a workout, you feel lighter, more positive, and ready to take on other things—maybe a passion project or just the rest of your day.

If you skip exercise, you might feel heavy, sluggish, and even more tired. It’s funny, but when you’re tired, going to bed right away can sometimes make you feel even more drained. On days when I feel a slump, if I push myself to go to the gym or just move a bit, I always feel better afterward. It might sound strange, but when you’re tired, the first thing you should think about is moving your body—go for a walk, hit the gym, or just jog around the block. You’ll feel the difference.

Physical exercise, in all its forms, is good for you and your happiness. It boosts your energy and gives you a more optimistic outlook. When you have more positive energy, you’re more likely to say yes to new opportunities. The more optimistic you are, the more you open yourself up to chance and good things. You might even find yourself smiling more, feeling better in your own skin, and being more open to things you would have said no to before. This increases your chances of success and draws good things your way.
