How to Build Success by Creating Something Every Day

When you build something every day, you’re not just making progress—you’re developing what feels like magical powers. Creating daily, whether it’s a side project, a business, or a passion, is about designing something from scratch. If you become obsessed with your project, you’ll naturally become better than most people. You’ll think about every detail, connect ideas in your mind, and start seeing things others miss. The more you immerse yourself in your chosen field, the more expertise you gain. This obsession lets you create something truly beautiful.

This is the real magic: staying in the flow of creation. That’s when amazing things happen. In the end, anything is possible if you want it badly enough. If your desire is strong and intense, you’ll get what you want.

Let me give you a simple example. Right now, I’m sitting in a cozy café. If I came here every day, I’d start to notice things—maybe the cushions, the atmosphere, the way the light falls. If one day I wanted to open my own café, these daily visits would give me endless ideas. I’d jot down notes, update a folder in my notes app, and slowly build a plan for my future coffee shop.

Maybe you’re already working on a project, or you dream of opening a restaurant. If you visit a different restaurant every day, especially high-end places, you’ll develop a sixth sense. You’ll notice what works, what doesn’t, and how you’d do things differently. Over time, you’ll weave together knowledge and expertise that set you apart. This is what makes all the difference. You become the expert, and your value skyrockets. You’ll know so much more than the average person that your hourly rate will be much higher, simply because you can deliver far more value.

You become 100 times better than the average person in your field. When you’re obsessed with a niche, it becomes part of you. You’re not just someone who knows about the subject—you are the expert. Even if you work in an office, your unique value will stand out. If you ever leave, your absence will be felt, and your true worth will become clear.

There’s a book by Cal Newport, not his famous “Deep Work,” but another one about becoming outstanding—about how to become irreplaceable. The idea is to develop such rare and strong expertise that no one can replace you. You become unique, someone who knows their subject inside out. That’s your magic power: weaving knowledge day by day, obsessing over a specific field, and knowing every detail.

Think of it like the difference between a general practitioner and a specialist doctor. The specialist charges more and has a long waiting list because everyone wants their expertise. They can diagnose things that generalists can’t, simply because they know their field so well. That’s what you should aim for. Use tools, even artificial intelligence, to help you improve and become more efficient.

Find your niche, your field of expertise, and excel at it. That’s where your true value lies.

If the path is beautiful, don’t ask where it leads. Just enjoy the journey.

When you do something you’re passionate about, you don’t worry about where it’s going. You’re not just doing it to pay the bills. Of course, money matters, but what really drives you is the passion. That’s why you’ll be better than others—because you’re not doing it out of obligation, but because you love it.
