Having a clear vision for your life is not just a nice idea—it’s essential. Whether it’s about your daily routine, your year ahead, or even just the next few months, knowing where you’re headed makes all the difference. It’s about understanding what will make you happy, what you want to do, and what you need to change or improve. Sometimes, it’s simply about dedicating a bit of time each day to move closer to the life you truly want.
Let me share a personal example. My vision is to open a cooking space or a café in Costa Rica. To get there, I need to do my research, maybe even visit the country, build connections, and start networking to meet more people locally. I have to look into costs—things like internet and real estate can be expensive. Renting might be a better option at first. The point is, I need to take small steps, one after another, to move toward my vision.
When you have a vision written down and you know what you need to do each day, it helps you climb the ladder much faster. More importantly, you know where you’re going. Without a vision, you wake up in the morning and drift through your day. You go to work, come home, and repeat the same routine. If you keep doing what you’ve always done, don’t expect anything to change. You have to do things differently if you want a different life.

That’s why having a vision for a new life, or for a dream project, is so important. Each day, you can contribute a little bit toward your dream—maybe half an hour, an hour, or even an hour and a half. It’s like hiking a 40-kilometer trail. Step by step, you eventually reach your destination. Or think of writing a book: word after word, page after page, and after some time, you have a finished book. Life works the same way. If you dedicate a bit of time every day, regularly, you’ll reach your final destination. But you have to make that time every single day. I’m 100% committed to this, and you can be too.
If you always do what you’ve always done, you’ll always get what you’ve always got.
