Many people talk about happiness and well-being, but today, I want to take a different approach. Instead of focusing only on feeling good, let’s talk about becoming a better version of yourself. The real question is: how can you compare yourself to who you were yesterday, and make sure that tomorrow, you’re a little better than today?

The answer is simple: you need an action plan. Start by imagining yourself a year from now. Picture your goal, not as the final destination of your life, but as the best version of yourself in twelve months. See yourself having achieved what you want. Focus only on that final image, not on the process. If you start thinking about every step, you might get discouraged and give up before you even start.

Once you have that vision, work backwards. Imagine the steps you would have taken to get there. You can write these steps down in a notebook. Break your goal into small, manageable pieces, like slicing a cake. Each slice is a step you need to take. Today, you do this. Tomorrow, you do that. The day after, you tackle the next piece. Every week, review your action plan and adjust as needed.

Let’s take a practical example. If you want to earn 10,000 euros in a week, break it down into daily amounts. Then, look at how many hours you want to work and what you can offer your clients. Think about what you can automate, or how you can earn money even while you sleep. Maybe you create a website or a service, or delegate tasks to others by hiring managers or using online platforms.

Thanks to technology, almost anything is possible. With a quick search, you can find IT support, experienced managers, marketing experts, or freelancers for any task. Platforms like Upwork, PeoplePerHour, and others make it easy to find the right people. Of course, you might need some starting capital, but you can also start from scratch. Earn a little money by making videos, writing a book, or creating software. There are coding bootcamps like 42 School, founded by Xavier Niel, that are free and available in cities around the world. If you’re motivated, you can learn almost anything online for free, whether through YouTube tutorials or other resources.

Excuses only make us feel better in the moment, but they don’t help us move forward. Don’t let them hold you back. I truly believe in you. The goal is to improve a little every day. This is the power of small, consistent actions. Each day, do something just a bit better than yesterday, and over time, you’ll reach your ultimate goal.
