Have you ever stopped to consider that the only thing truly holding you back is yourself? The idea that everything is possible isn’t just a catchy phrase—it’s a reality waiting for you to claim it. Whenever you feel the urge to achieve something, remember: the only limits that exist are the ones you impose on yourself. There are no other barriers. You can accomplish anything you dream of, and you are capable of so much more than you think.

It all comes down to wanting it. People often say, “It’s not that simple.” But if you truly want something, if you are absolutely determined and persistent, you will succeed. I love repeating this phrase: It’s easy, you just have to want it. I even wrote it in my book, Success Is Not Far Away: If you want it, you can do it. You just have to want it. Some people don’t quite get the meaning behind this. They might get annoyed or dismiss it, but the truth is, those who don’t succeed often don’t believe in their goals enough. They don’t want it strongly enough, so they don’t give it their all. They don’t try to reach for the moon. But everything really is possible, as long as you have that obsession, that perseverance to keep going.

If you want something deeply, you can achieve it. There is always a solution. Every day, you have the power to choose your thoughts, your actions, your words, your goals, the people you meet, the places you go, and the relationships you build. All these choices belong to you and only you. Each day is a new opportunity to create something new.

When you start building the life of your dreams, you need to visualize your final goal. Picture your life exactly as you want it to be. Take a moment to clear your mind and imagine your dream life. You don’t need to be a monk to do this—just find a quiet space and let your imagination run free. Once you have that vision, make a plan to reach it. Imagine yourself already living that dream, then work backwards step by step to see what you need to do to get there.

There’s a quote I love from Martin Luther King Jr.:

You don’t have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step.
— Martin Luther King Jr.

You don’t need to know every detail in advance. If you try to see the whole path, you might get discouraged. Just take the first step, then the next, and you’ll get there.

Everything you desire is possible. The key is to keep all possibilities open instead of closing doors before you’ve even tried. Determination, obsession (the good kind), and perseverance are the real keys to success. There’s a difference between being stubborn and being persistent. Stubbornness is negative—you keep pushing even when it’s clear something isn’t working, just because you’ve already invested time or energy. But perseverance means knowing when to try a different approach while still moving toward your goal.

Think of an ant. When it hits an obstacle, it doesn’t keep banging its head against it. It finds another way around. You should do the same in your life.

The only limits in life are the ones you make yourself.
