Have you ever noticed how combining two simple things can lead to something completely new? This is the magic of association. When you put things together, you open the door to fresh ideas and new ways of living or working.

Think about it: a fork and a knife are just utensils, but together, they make eating easier. Take a toothbrush and a timer. You know those toothbrushes with built-in sand timers for brushing your teeth for three minutes? That’s a perfect example of association. By merging two separate items, you get a new product that solves a problem.

This isn’t just about inventions. You can use this method in your daily life, your business, or even your personal routines. If you love two different things, ask yourself: how can I mix them to create my ideal day or lifestyle?

Let’s say you’re passionate about Japan and you also love crêpes. Why not create a fusion kitchen? That’s how “fusion restaurants” are born—by mixing French desserts like crêpes with Japanese flavors. Koreans are masters at this. For example, the “croffle” is a mix of a croissant and a waffle. Or the “cronut,” which blends a donut and a croissant. These creative combinations are everywhere in Korea because people enjoy trying new things.

There’s even a trend where hotels and vacations are combined into “resorts.” You stay in a hotel, but it feels like a full vacation experience. Even the word “selfie” is an association: “self” and “photography” combined to describe taking a photo of yourself.

You can do the same with your lifestyle. By mixing what you love, you can create your own unique concept or even your own method. For example, I created the “pH Method” based on my name, Pierre. It’s my personal way of doing things, and you can do the same. Maybe you love math and video games. Why not create a fun math game or something else entirely?

Traveling is another way to spark new associations. When you visit places with different cultures, you see things you never imagined. If you’re used to Western culture and travel to Asia or Latin America, you’ll notice so many new habits. People eat with their hands, or have salty breakfasts. These experiences can totally shift your mindset and give you ideas you never thought possible.

The real magic happens when you take action. Don’t wait for the perfect moment. If you want to do something, do it now. The worst that can happen is you make mistakes, but that’s how you learn. If you do nothing, your life will stay the same. Change only comes from action.

I believe in you 100%. Go for it. Try new combinations, create your own methods, and see how far you can go. The power of association is often underestimated, but it can truly change your life.
